The world needs immediate action on climate change, but Canada isn’t interested! Canadian representatives are going to be attending an international conference in Copenhagen this month. The goal of the meeting is to cooperatively reduce emissions on a global scale. Unfortunately, Canadian participation is unlikely to produce any substantial reduction in emissions targets unless they start listening to the concerns of the Canadian peolpe and the rest of the world. What will it take to get Stephen Harper to step up to this necessary task? How much longer can we put this off?

This event is part of an international call for action on December 11th put out by various groups dedicated to raising awareness about Climate Change and the importance of a binding legal agreement at Copenhagen.
We couldn’t do it on the 11th, but we’re doing it anyways! This will put Lethbridge on the map of cities around the world which contributed to this action and put pressure on leaders to act accordingly at Copenhagen. More information will be provided at the show for you to pursue more actions like this.
