Dez Kamara returns to Sierra Leone to follow up on 6 former child soldiers they filmed in the first documentary in 2001. In attempting to find and reconnect with these children (now adults), Dez and his team travel as far as Kambia in the north of the country. Life has not been easy for these children; today most of them are on their own trying to survive with the skills the NGOs taught them. After much searching Dez was able to find and reconnect with one, Kai Yousef, who unfortunately passed away early this year. This film examines the successes, the failures, and the personal stories of former child soldiers in Sierra Leone and around the world face and those who try to help them.
